Role of the Programs Committee
The Programs Committee is essential to IFMA East Bay, as our programs are the lifeblood of the chapter and directly support the membership experience. This team plans and delivers the events that bring our built-environment community together and strengthen professional growth.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate chapter meetings, deep-dive sessions, facility tours, and special events.

Identify timely, relevant topics that meet member needs.

Source and secure knowledgeable speakers and panelists.

Select venues, tour event spaces, and manage event logistics.

Collect and review attendee feedback to continually improve programming.
Ideal Members
Ideal committee members are organized, collaborative, and enjoy planning events. Experience with coordination, outreach, or logistics is helpful but not required—just a passion for supporting member engagement and helping professionals connect and grow.
