As the President of IFMA East Bay, I am honored to bring over 20 years of experience in the built environment to a community whose strength lies in connection, collaboration, and continuous learning. My career began as a fourth-generation Local 39 Stationary Engineer, growing from an entry-level utility role to the President of Engineering for M5 Services, supported by a degree in Organizational Communications, a background in real estate, and multiple industry certifications. Having served in leadership roles with AFE and IFMA, I’ve seen firsthand how vital it is to bridge communication gaps between engineers, facility managers, property teams, and building owners. My goal is simple: to bring our built environment professionals together, strengthen relationships across all disciplines, increase understanding of the challenges we each face, and help every member continue developing as a leader in our industry. Outside of work, I’m a family-focused father of two, a weekend Ice-hockey player, and someone who simply loves all things building-related—and I’m grateful for the opportunity to support and grow this community.

Maria Neumann is the Principle owner of Fire & Water Damage Recovery. FWDR is a female owned and operated independent restoration company with 24/7/365 emergency services that specializes in the cleanup of water, smoke, mold, sewage and trauma. She is a loyal sponsor and member of our chapter who happens to enjoy the accounting arena.

Kristi is the Northern California Account Manager at SOLID Surface Care, Inc., with more than a decade of experience supporting facility managers, project managers, general contractor teams, and owner representatives across hospitality, life science, commercial retail, and corporate environments. She brings a practical, solutions-driven approach to managing project details, schedules, and budgets, helping teams navigate complex scopes while maintaining continuity from planning through project completion. Actively engaged in the industry, Kristi volunteers her time and supports organizations such as IFMA, contributing to continued education and collaboration for facility management professionals. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, photography, hiking, cooking, wine tasting, and spending time with friends and family.

Scott D. McBee

Scott McBee comes to us with over 25 years in the Facilities and Construction arena.
Scott is currently the Sales & Marketing Director for the Janus Corporation in Concord,
CA. Scott is heavily involved in the International Facilities Management Association
which focuses on the development and ongoing education in the facilities trade. He has
been a loyal East Bay member and contributor for over 15 years. Scott has held every
position in the East Bay chapter as well as being a two-time Past President of the
group. Scott works closely with many of the top companies in Bay Area to develop
strategic facility solutions that help streamline the building maintenance process. His
company the “Janus Corporation” is also and proud sponsor of the IFMA East Bay
Chapter.

Christian D. Pellecchia

JE Dunn Construction

Christian Pellecchia is a Project Executive for Bernards Construction, and he oversees all special projects in the Bay Area. He is also a longtime IFMA member and sponsor. He is the Past President of IFMA Silicon Valley, and has served as the Golf Committee Chair, Secretary, Vice President, and President for the IFMA East Bay chapter. Christian is the recipient of the International 'Associate of the Year Award' in 2017, and 'Educator of the Year Award' in 2021. He is also a certified Instructor for IFMA's 'Essentials of Facility Management Course.'

John M. Carrillo

John joined the Los Angeles Chapter of IFMA in 1984 and helped to charter the Orange County Chapter of IFMA during the same year. John transferred his membership to the East Bay Chapter in 1992 and was elected President from 2000 to 2002. John received his CFM designation in 2000 and was appointed to the International Board of Directors of IFMA from 2002 to 2003. John was awarded the prestigious honor of being named IFMA Fellow in 2006 and was recently elected to the IFMA Foundation Board of Trustees for, selected to serve through 2013. John is currently employed by AT&T as West Region Director of Planning, Design & Construction for 13 states and Guam.

The East Bay Chapter supports the facility management profession by providing an annual scholarship to a deserving student. Students from accredited certificate programs, undergraduate and graduate programs pursuing a degree in facility management or related fields are encouraged to apply. In addition to the scholarship, the East Bay Chapter provides recipients the means to attend the annual World Workplace Conference.
